Privacy Policy
Traductor de fotos e imágenes (Photo & Image Translator)
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Jumapps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses,
and protects information when you use Traductor de fotos e imágenes
(Photo & Image Translator), available on Google Play under the package
translator.photo.voice.text.camera.ai.
By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the app.
The app's primary function is to translate text captured from photos, images in your gallery, or spoken words, supporting dozens of language pairs. Translation processing is performed via a third-party API over a secure internet connection.
2. App Permissions
The following permissions may be requested by the app. Each permission is used exclusively for the stated purpose.
Permissions are only triggered when you actively use the corresponding feature. Camera access is never enabled in the background. Microphone access is active only while you are recording a voice translation. You may revoke any permission at any time via your device Settings › Apps.
3. Data Collected

| Voice audio | Processed | Converted to text on-device for voice translation | No — not uploaded |
| Typed text input | Transmitted | Sent to translation API | Not stored after translation |
| Translation history | Optional | Stored locally on your device if you save favorites | No |

We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. No account is required to use this app.
4. Camera & Photos
Camera Permission
When you use the live camera translation feature, the app accesses your device camera to capture an image. The captured image is processed locally on your device using Google ML Kit's on-device OCR to extract text. The extracted text — not the image — is then sent to the translation API.
We never upload your photos or camera frames to our servers. Images captured via the camera are not saved to your gallery unless you explicitly tap the save button.
Image Gallery Access
When you choose to translate text in an image from your gallery, the app reads the selected image file to perform OCR. The same processing rules apply: text is extracted locally and only the extracted text is sent for translation. The original image file is not transmitted or stored outside your device.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES instead of the
broader READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. Access is limited to image files and
is only active when you are actively selecting an image within the app.
5. Voice & Microphone
The voice translation feature uses your device microphone to capture spoken words. Audio is processed using the device's built-in speech recognition or a secure API to convert your speech to text. The resulting text is then sent to the translation API.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not record or store audio files on our servers.
- We do not listen to audio when the app is in the background.
- Microphone access is active only while you are holding the voice recording button or have explicitly started a voice session.
- We do not use voice data for any purpose other than the immediate translation request.
Microphone Permission
The RECORD_AUDIO permission is requested the first time you attempt to use the
voice translation feature. You may decline this permission and still use all other features
of the app (camera translation, image translation, and typed text translation).
