This Privacy Policy describes how Jumapps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Currency Converter: Real Rates, available on Google Play under the package com.jumapps.currencyconverter.

By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the app.

The app's core function is to convert amounts between world currencies using live exchange rates fetched from a third-party exchange rate data provider. All conversion calculations are performed locally on your device once rates are downloaded.

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the app. The table below summarizes everything we collect and why.

App Permissions

The only device permission required by this app is INTERNET — used to fetch live exchange rates and to load advertisements. No camera, microphone, location, or storage permissions are requested.

Live exchange rates are fetched from a third-party exchange rate data provider via a secure HTTPS connection. These requests are made automatically when you open the app or when the cached rates expire.

What Is Transmitted

Rate fetch requests include standard network information such as your IP address, which is visible to the exchange rate API provider. No personal information, no currency amounts you are converting, and no user identifiers are included in these requests.

How Rates Are Stored

Exchange rates are cached locally on your device to reduce network usage and allow the app to function with a recent rate set when offline. Cached rates are stored in the app's private storage and are not accessible by other apps.

Rate Data Is Not Financial Advice

Exchange rates provided by this app are for informational purposes only. They may differ from rates offered by banks, financial institutions, or money transfer services. Jumapps is not a financial service provider and does not provide financial advice.

📢4. Google AdMob

This app displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent preferences and regional settings.

• IP address (used for approximate location-based ad targeting)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)

All network connections to third-party services use encrypted HTTPS. We do not sell data to, or share personal information with, any of these services beyond what is required for their stated functions.

This app is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because this app collects no personal information from users (no accounts, no profiles, no typed amounts transmitted), it presents minimal privacy risk for users of any age. However, ad content served through Google AdMob may not always be appropriate for all ages.

On-Device Data

Cached exchange rates, saved currency pairs, and app preferences stored locally on your device are retained until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data via your device Settings › Apps. We do not have access to or control over locally stored data.

Analytics & Crash Data

Anonymous analytics data sent to Firebase Analytics is retained for up to 14 months per Firebase's default retention settings. Crash data via Firebase Crashlytics is retained for 90 days. All data is anonymized and not linked to any individual user.

Advertising Data

Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own data retention policies, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage your advertising preferences through your Google account.

No Server-Side User Data

Jumapps does not maintain any server-side database of user accounts or usage records for this app. There is no user data stored on our infrastructure to delete or export.

⚖️8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. Given the minimal data collection of this app, most of these rights apply primarily to data held by our third-party service providers (Google AdMob, Firebase).

• Access: Request information about data we hold about you. Because we maintain no user accounts or profiles, we typically hold no personally identifiable data.
• Deletion: Request erasure of any data associated with you. For on-device data, uninstalling the app achieves this. For AdMob/Firebase data, use Google's account controls.
• Opt Out of Personalized Ads: Reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization via Android Settings › Google › Ads.
• Objection: Object to the processing of your data for advertising purposes by using your device's ad tracking controls.
• Portability: Request a copy of any data we hold. Since we hold no user-specific data, this would typically result in a nil response.

California Users (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion. Given our minimal data collection, most CCPA requests will result in confirmation that we hold no personally identifiable data about you.
